We're tired of recipe websites that make you scroll through someone's childhood memories, close five cookie banners, dodge auto-playing videos, and fight through a wall of ads — just to find out how much flour you need.

Recip is different:

• No life stories. Just the recipe. Descriptions are capped at 300 characters.
• Metric & imperial toggle. One click to switch units. Your preference is remembered.

• Community-driven. Anyone can submit recipes. The community upvotes the best ones.
• Open source. The entire codebase is on GitHub. Contributions welcome.
• Minimal ads. Just enough to cover hosting. Contextual only, from privacy-respecting networks.
